FIG Exchange Privacy Policy

This is the Privacy Policy referred to in The Exchange Terms of Use, and any defined terms used in those Terms shall apply here. It sets how FIG looks to deal with your personally identifiable and other information, including that of your computer, mobile or other device, when you access and use the Website and/or Service.

1. Your Information

A. The information that FIG collects

The use of the Website does not require You to register or provide FIG with personal data – but FIG’s servers may collect information about You and your online behaviour, as you utilise the Service. That information can include:

  • your IP address;

  • your activity on the Website, including the pages visited by you, when visited, and the content viewed;

  • your interactions with email and push messaging;

Social Networking - if You choose to access, visit and/or use any third party social networking service(s) that may be integrated with the Service, FIG may receive personally identifiable information and other information about You and your computer, mobile or other device that you have made available to those services, including information about your contacts on those services.

Therefore - should You decide to use a social networking service in connection with the Service You should be comfortable with the information your third party social networking services may make available to FIG – visit those services terms of use and privacy policies, and consider modifying the privacy settings.

B. Third party sites

The Service includes links to third party websites, including e-commerce sites. FIG has no control or influence over whether any external website observes the relevant data protection rules. FIG cannot accept and hereby disclaims responsibility for third party content, which is made available via links, and does not adopt their content as its own.

2. Cookies & Tracking Technologies

FIG uses cookies and similar technologies to collect, analyse and share your behavioural information whilst using the Service, including which categories You browse and which pages You visit.FIG may sell or share that information, and that of your computer, mobile or other device with FIG affiliates and with carefully selected companies who FIG thinks may offer services and/or products that may be of interest to You.

FIG uses Google Analytics, MixPanel, and FullStory to analyse the use of the Website. These services generate statistical and other information about website use by means of cookies, which are stored on users' computers. The information generated relating to the Website is used to create reports about the use of the Website. Google and MixPanel will store this information. FIG uses Tracking Technologies for all or some of the same lawful business purposes FIG describe above for use of cookies and storage.

FIG third party vendors may at times use Tracking Technologies to send to You advertisements or other notifications. The use of Tracking Technologies by third parties is subject to their own privacy policies, not this Privacy Policy, and FIG has no responsibility or liability in connection therewith. 3. Use of information

FIG reserves the right to use, transfer, sell, and share aggregated, anonymous data about the Website and/or Service users as a group or partial groups for any lawful business purpose, including for the analysis of usage trends, developing new products and/or services, and seeking compatible clients and customers and other commercial reasons.

FIG may grant third parties access to its servers and database for the purpose of ancillary services, such as technical maintenance, market research, or otherwise, but only for the purpose of and to the extent necessary to provide those services.

Business Transfers - if a third party acquires FIG or some or all of its assets, or if FIG ceases to trade, information would be one of the assets that could be transferred to or acquired by a third party. 5. Information Security and Notification

FIG cannot guarantee the security of the information You send or the security of its servers, networks or databases, and by using the Service You agree to assume all risk in connection with the information sent to or collected by FIG or on its behalf when You access the Website and/or use the Service. FIG shall not be responsible for any loss of such information or the consequences thereof.

If You elect to store information where others may access it, FIG is not responsible for any loss of such information or the consequences thereof.

Should FIG believe that the security of your information in its possession or control may have been compromised, FIG may seek to notify You. If notification is appropriate, FIG may notify You via your computer, mobile or other device.

You have the right to demand information from FIG, free of charge, as to the personal data FIG has stored about you, the recipients or categories of recipient to which FIG has disclosed that data as well as the purpose of storage. Beyond that, You have, where applicable, the right to rectification, blocking or erasure of personal data within the statutory requirements. 6. Children and Parents

The Service is not intended for use by children, especially those under age 13. No one under age 13 is allowed to register for the Service or provide any personally identifiable information or use our social, community and public discussion areas, photo and video galleries, bulletin boards, forums, chats, blogs, personal/job search and other classified ads, and elsewhere. Minors between the ages of 13 and 17, inclusive, must get the permission of their parent(s) or legal guardian(s) before accessing and/or using the Website or Service.

FIG reserves the right to amend this Privacy Policy at any time, including as to when regulations or its policies change. FIG will always endeavour to post any changes here but please check regularly in any event.

If You are a California resident, then the law of that State permits You to request and receive the identity of any third parties to whom FIG has disclosed personal information within the previous calendar year, along with the type of personal information disclosed, in both cases for the third parties’ direct marketing purposes.
